In Summer 2014, DPP assisted Chop Shop Casual Urban Eatery, located on east Colfax in Denver, in the grand opening of its fast casual / quick serve restaurant. The concept was one of the first in Denver to provide a chef-driven eatery with a fast casual experience and the opportunity to stay and enjoy a tap wine or beer. DPP implemented a PR/media relations campaign that helped build buzz and awareness of the concept, mission, well-known chef and menus. Following the grand opening, the team implemented a vertical-wide consumer launch and ongoing proactive PR to target local, regional and national media and consumers alike. In addition, the team helped execute a social media strategy to build an aggressive following and fan base.
